Music and Worship

Music at St. James has been an important and integral part of worship for the entire life of this community.

Our choir may seem small, but it is great.  We have sung in Europe, including at our partner church in Germany, and enjoyed every moment of it!  We are always welcoming to all who want to sing, regardless of talent or training.  We all learn as we go and grow.

Our pipe organ is moderate in size, but always kept in fine tune/repair.  It is a two keyboard Wicks of 1960’s vintage.  It was made in Illinois.

We are the home of an exquisite grand piano from Estonia.  It is as beautiful to look at as it is to listen to.

In autumn of 2008, our handbell choir will be looking for anyone who wishes to learn about this fun means of ministry.  It is for all ages.

If you desire to sing, play, ring or just assist with our music program, please speak to Tony, our Music Director.  You are always welcome.  Know that music is ministry.  We believe ministry is our duty and joy!

Peace to all!
