Youth

Sunday School for our youth is every Sunday morning, 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.  Through video and discussion the youth are presently focusing their Sunday morning time together on the Gospel of John.

Our Youth Group meets throughout the academic year.  Further details on Youth Group events can be found in our monthly newsletter, the Hilltop Views, found on our home page. 

Mission Trip - Each year the youth of St. James Church and the youth of Bethany Children's Home spend a week during the summer helping our neighbors in need.  In 2010, our youth went to York, PA for both a teen week and a pre-teen week to help in an area nursing home, a Christian camp, and a city park day camp.

Youth Together
Youth Together is a Havertown commuity youth group begun by St. James United Church of Christ and Union United Methodist Church.  Currently, the community youth group includes:  Keystone Korean Presbyterian Church, St. James United Church of Christ, Temple Lutheran Church, Trinity Lutheran Church and Union United Methodist Church.  We come together several times a year to build community among area youth.  Recently, we held "an experiential worship service" and a "Live Arts Night,"  and went on a trip to an Adventure/Ropes Course. 

There will be a Youth Together Bowling and Pizza Night on Sunday, May 22, 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.  Contact the church office if you would like to attend.
